Are you based in Vancouver?
No. We are a Calgary studio serving Vancouver clients remotely. We say so plainly rather than listing a Vancouver address — a coworking mailbox is not a local presence, and you would find out eventually anyway.
How does the timezone difference work?
Calgary is one hour ahead of Vancouver, which is close to ideal. We start an hour before you and our afternoons overlap completely, so there is no waiting a day for an answer.
How do your rates compare to a Vancouver agency?
Generally lower, because our cost base is Alberta rather than downtown Vancouver. You are getting senior Canadian engineers rather than a discount from offshoring, so the saving does not come with a coordination penalty.
Can you meet in person?
Occasionally, for kickoffs or significant milestones, though we would rather be honest that most Vancouver engagements run entirely remote. If a project genuinely depends on regular in-person presence, a local team may serve you better and we will say so.
Do you work with BC privacy requirements?
Yes. BC’s PIPA and the requirements around public bodies differ from Alberta’s, and we build to whatever your compliance obligations specify, including keeping data resident in Canada.
