No — we are based in Calgary and serve Edmonton clients from there. It is a three-hour drive, so on-site sessions are a straightforward day trip when a project calls for one. We are upfront about this rather than listing an address we do not occupy.
Does not being local cause problems?
In practice, no. We share your timezone, which is the thing that actually matters day to day, and we travel up for the sessions that genuinely benefit from being in the room. Most project communication happens the same way it would with a team across town.
Can you work with public sector procurement?
Yes. We are used to written scopes, documented deliverables, accessibility requirements, and data residency conditions. We will tell you plainly if a requirement in an RFP is something we cannot meet rather than bidding around it.
Can you handle data residency requirements?
Yes. We deploy to Canadian AWS regions and document where data is stored, processed, and backed up, which is usually what a privacy impact assessment needs to state.
